Bring your furry friend to Central Park, Malvern East for a day of entertainment, competitions, information and demonstrations. The full Sebastian Says collection will be on showcase and there will be FREE live monogramming on all Leather Collars purchased on the day. The main stage features live music, pet parades, presentations, health tips and information on responsible pet ownership. Network Ten’s weather presenter Mike Larkan will return as host and will be joined by animal expert and resident vet that you may have seen on Pooches at Play, Dr Melissa Meehan for a Q&A on animal First Aid.
Don’t miss your chance to get involved in the Pets in the Park 2019 Superstar Competition sponsored by PETstock and hosted by Pooches at Play’s Lara Shannon. Categories are ‘Best Trick’ and ‘Best Dressed’ and prizes are up for grabs. Axle the Staffy will be on hand to inspire you with his famous fidget spinning trick.
For something a little different, head over to the Awkward Portraits mobile photo studio to pose with your pet in a hilarious array of awkward jumpers and props. Get involved with the Jack Russel Terrier Racing team and give your dog a go on the amateur race track.
Other highlights include face painting for kids, and kids at heart by the multi-award winning Juicy Face Painting, and wildlife encounter with The Rookeepers, meet dingoes, snakes, possums and even (baby) crocodiles too.
Pets in the Park is held in conjunction with Chadstone/East Malvern ‘Tastes of France’ featuring a vintage car display, fine French flavours and rides.
